Heathy Working Lives

Bronze Award

Initial core activities for the Bronze aweard included addressing healthy working lives in the workplace, assessing safety and health and safety needs in the workplace and raising awareness of Healthy Working Lives.

The group also promoted healthy eating in the workplace by promoting access to healthier food choices and there were lots of activity around providing information and improving awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues, including stress.

All members of staff within the organisation completed an online questionnaire and his resulted in the staff handbook being revised and updated. As well as ensuring that all Health and Safety policies were being followed, working towards this Bronze award also resulted in a revision of the Smoking Policy.

The group promoted a series of health improving activitis to all members of staff within Community Pharmacy Scotland.
