Shortages – Generic products bought at prices above Drug Tariff
If you have bought generic items (which are recognised shortages) at higher than tariff price, you should clearly endorse each script with the total cost of the amount dispensed, and Short Supply or (SHS). (Do not endorse with the suppliers name.)
You should also include an invoice. However it is not feasible for you to include an invoice for every script for the same item. You should therefore submit ONE invoice for each generic and ensure that you keep all your invoices in case Payment Verification wish to see them in retrospect.
