Nanette Milne MSP Visit To Boots The Chemist Bon Accord Centre Aberdeen

North East Scotland MSP Nanette Milne MSP was given an opportunity to see how community pharmacists are helping deliver modern healthcare when she visited Boots the Chemist in the Bon Accord Centre Aberdeen

The visit was organised by Community Pharmacy Scotland, which represents the interests of the owners of Scotland’s 1232 community pharmacies, in order for Nanette to see the contribution a modern community pharmacy is having on care in the out of hours period in Grampian.

Nanette Milne MSP is a member of the Public Petitions Committee at the Scottish Parliament. The main remit of the Public Petitions Committee is to consider on petitions raised by the public, these petitions can be on health matters. For this reason Community Pharmacy Scotland is keen to demonstrate to members of the committee the increasing role that pharmacies now have on the health practices of local communities.
