Murdo Fraser MSP Visits Davidsons Pharmacy In Blairgowrie
Murdo Fraser MSP, Deputy Leader of the Scottish Conservatives at the Scottish Parliament, took time out of his busy schedule to visit Davidsons Pharmacy in Blairgowrie on Monday the 1st August.
The visit of Mr Fraser, who is also a local MSP, was organised by Community Pharmacy Scotland, which represents the interests of the owners of Scotland’s 1228 community pharmacies, to help Mr Fraser see the contribution that a modern pharmacy can have on a community’s health.
He met with the pharmacist and members of Community Pharmacy Scotland to see at first hand the important work that community pharmacists now provide on the front line of the modern NHS.
Murdo Fraser MSP, said: “I welcome the opportunity to visit Blairgowrie pharmacy, which is an excellent and well used facility for the people of Blairgowrie and Rattray. It plays an important role in the daily lives of many local residents and all the staff go out of their way to help their customers. It is important that politicians learn more about health services being offered to local residents.
