Mary Fee MSP Visits Glenburn Pharmacy Paisley

Mary Fee, Scottish Labour MSP for West Scotland, took time out of her busy schedule to visit the community pharmacy in Glenburn, Paisley, recently.

The visit of Mrs Fee was organised by Community Pharmacy Scotland, which represents the interests of the owners of Scotland’s 1232 community pharmacies, to help Mrs Fee see the positive contribution that a modern pharmacy can have on a community’s health.

She met with the pharmacist and pharmacy team to see first hand the important work that community pharmacists now provide on the front line of the modern NHS.

May Fee MSP, said: “Community pharmacies are a vital resource in local areas giving a range of advice and help on a number issues, including smoking cessation, diet advice, working with health centres and other professionals, they give an invaluable services to our elderly, disabled as well as families all across Scotland.
