Scottish Labour Party Conference - Glasgow 19th March 2011

The final round of spring party conference activity concluded on the 19th March at the Glasgow Science Centre with the Labour Party.

CPS board member Robbie McGregor, Chief Executive Officer Harry McQuillan and Malcolm Clubb from the Policy Department joined colleagues from The Royal Pharmaceutical Society in lobbying for a greater role in healthcare provision.

They took the opportunity to engage with Andy Kerr MSP, the Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Economy and Skills of the Labour Party at Holyrood. The stand was also attended by both Labour spokespeople for Health Jackie Baillie MSP and Richard Simpson MSP. Discussions on the Minor Ailment Service were held with both Jackie Baillie and Richard Simpson.

Scottish Labour Party Conference - Oban 29th – 31st October 2010

The final round of party conference activity was over the weekend of 29th-31st October at the Scottish Labour Party Conference held in Oban this year.

CPS board member Robbie McGregor Chief Executive Officer Harry McQuillan joined colleagues from The Royal Pharmaceutical Society in lobbying for a greater role in healthcare provision.

They took the opportunity to engage with Iain Gray, the leader of the Labour Party at Holyrood and many other MSPs and MPs.

CPS will monitor developments of the proposed National Care Service should this party form a government next May after the Scottish elections.
