Availability of Levonelle 1500

Some contractors have reported they can’t get supplies of Levonelle 1500 for EHC prescribing on CPUS forms. Although Bayer Schering say there is stock available they believe there may be distribution to wholesaler problems because of the weather conditions.

We are unable to get approval from the Scottish Government for the supply of Levonelle One Step until January. Community Pharmacy Scotland would suggest you endorse the price of whichever product you supply until the matter can be resolved.
