Degarelix One Of Six New Drugs For Use In NHS Scotland

Six drugs have been accepted for use in NHS Scotland in the latest round of appraisals by the Scottish Medicines Consortium (January 2011).

Degarelix (Firmagon; Ferring) is approved for the treatment of advance hormone-dependent prostate cancer under a patient access scheme.
