Flu Vaccine Supplies

We are aware that Crucell has a supply of flu vaccines this year but that it is not mentioned in the latest NHS Circular.

However we have been assured that this vaccine is acceptable as one of your three sources for purchase this year. Flu vaccine co-ordinators at each Board will be informed.

Contractors must check the licence status for 2011-12 and may purchase any vaccine which is appropriately licensed.

The list of vaccines in Annex A of the circular show the license status in 2010-11. Contractors may purchase from other sources of supply if the vaccine concerned meets the requirements for the 2011-12 season.

If a contractor purchases vaccines other than those identified on the forms at Annex A of the Circular he/she may annotate the form accordingly or add an extra sheet.
