NES Pharmacy will run a Return to Practice Course on 16-18 Jan 2012, at the School of Pharmacy, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
The course will be of interest to those pharmacists wishing to return to practice after a career break, or those wishing to change sector eg. from hospital into community pharmacy practice.
The course will cover topics such as POM to P medicines; emergency supplies; CD regulations; professional regulation by GPhC; unscheduled care and NHS24. The Community Pharmacy contract will also be covered in detail, allowing participants hands on experience of the minor ailments service and chronic medication service within the computer suite. As well as practical help and opportunity to create a CPD record, NES will also assist you to find a work shadowing placement should you wish one.
There is a £200 fee to attend this 3 day course, payable online by debit/credit card when you book your place at www.portal.scot.nhs.uk.
