Scotland’s community pharmacists have been praised by the First Minister for their work with people with drugs problems.
Alex Salmond paid tribute following a meeting held by community safety Minister Fergus Ewing with Community Pharmacy Scotland and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
The two organisations had sought the meeting to brief the Minister on the work being undertaken by community pharmacists in Scotland in support of the Government’s drugs policy, The Road to Recovery.
