Flu Vaccine Arrangements Winter 2011/12

You should by now have received a copy of NHS Circular PCA(P)(2011)1 which sets out the arrangements for flu vaccine supply for next winter. If not it is available to download here.

The arrangements are very similar to last year which means that you have very little time to complete the first task of informing your NHS Board flu co-ordinator that you have split your order between at least 3 suppliers.

If you intend to supply flu vaccines this year please ensure you complete:

• Annex A of the circular and return it to the flu co-ordinator by 25th February 2011. If you do not do this you will only be paid at the lower fee rate of 75p per vaccine instead of the upper rate of £1.10.

• Annex C and return it by email or post to BOTH your flu co-ordinator and Moira Hanley by 25th February 2011.
